Exercise Update From The Past

Rachael, Jodie and I attended our first fitness class together last week, the ever-popular Zumba class. While the effort I put in towards the end of the class was nowhere near the 100% I put in at the beginning (and there was that moment when I got told off for sitting down in the break), I didn't have to stand still and catch my breath as often as I thought I would. Zumba as a work out definitely works your entire body, but is also "fun" for people like me who really do not enjoy exercise. Really I just like the music and dancing along to it, so I deal with the sweating to the best of my abilities. Turns out Zumba is a lot easier than Jillian Michaels' exercise videos. When it comes to those, the struggle is real.

Confession time: I did not reach my goal of three workouts a week. When the other girls cancelled due to work commitments, although I had the time, I did not pursue a workout on my own. I will definitely have to work on this.
